Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American as well as a Canadian singer-songwriter. She has more than twenty albums. Her music is classified as folk and alternative rock but is also influenced by punk funk hiphop and jazz. Ani DiFranco is widely recognized as the feminist's icon and Grammy-winning performer, is regarded as the pioneer in DIY music. She was among the pioneers to start an independent label back in the year 1990. DiFranco was born on the 23rd September 1970 in New York City, York.
