One of her personal highlights was getting selected to be part of Snoop on the YouTube Brandcast, in May 2013 and composing songs, despite the turbulence of the past few years. Young producer has been fascinated by Niykee. She is always looking at latest beats. Many end up inspiring songs. She states that she can tell if the beat is good in just five seconds. And then, a brand new song may pop up in her head. As I play my guitar on my front porch the words begin to flow. Most often, I'm done in thirty minutes. Niykee has found that her pain in the past provides endless sources of motivation. Even when I'm not writing literally about things that have occurred to me, the pain of my childhood and loss of my sister up getting pushed into my songs, she states. It shapes my songs and creates a deeper significance behind everything that is among the most significant things to me--I need to know that I can listen to any one of my songs in 20 years from now and still be proud of what I said.
